.....I look around at Central and see a great deal of insider activity occurring and find myself irresistibily drawn to crack the dang code :) Uh--what about that occasional eerie *swap* of font size--cue Twilight Zone music--Yikes! .....Annyywaayy, I'm reminded of the time I moved from Hawaii, where each month, I went to the actual utility offices to pay my bills. Now in Utah, I tried one day to find the address of the electric company. Not listed anywhere. So I called the electric company and asked the woman that answered the phone where their building was. There was a pause before she answered in a bewildered voice, "It's where it's always been!" And right there, folks, a new code phrase was born. heh heh! -->me, wiping away tears of laughter<-- Wiki Central is where it has always been. .....Anyway, you know: learn the jargon, find the menus, decide what is outdated (!) ie: Hulu videos available (as suggested in How to Insert a Video instructions)? Not anywhere I wiki-wiki; the font "choice" in Easy Edit - uh, nonexistent; 'indent' moving the whole paragraph instead of just the first word; UNDOs working sometimes and if then, only once, at which time a "Cancel" is the only way out of chaos; edits and saves appearing one way, and then when I return later to find the format has changed on its own *whack!*--tables morphing into their own unique, un-editable alien creations ... Stuff like that. But ---- HEY! Whoa! - font size change alert, all deckhands below, bweep bweep .... alien invasion, anyone? .....I know the moderators are BUSY and have other lives, yet basic things like EasyEdit might be considered a priority to keep updated? Just sayin'. I even hear some folks are paid to work at Central--what do they do? .....I'm persistant, curious and perceptive in a warped way--meaning, I can spidey-sense something hinky every time, but never exactly what, how or who .... hence the persistance. I always pickily find my way to the truth of a matter or a member, but choose my oddyseys selfishly. As in, choose your fights to represent what matters to you - don't simply fight everything just to be "right." .....I am a member of this and a few other sites, a creator of two sites, and administrator of two sites.
