Where you a Mod when you helped me with my sites? With Ratz?

If not then how and when did you become one?

Nope, I was not always a Mod here on WPC, I was just recently asked to be a Mod here. No, I do not Work for Wetpaint, and Yes, I wish I did.

Sorry.. I have been super busy lately. I have school from 7a to 2:22p Eastern.. Then it is even crazier after that. I am also a Podcaster, so I am busy. I have all of next week off.

I think wetpaint should pay mods like you and madusha. I mean its sort of slavery. They are making you work for free. I would be demanding money :-) Also it is sort of taking advantage of you.

I don't mind not being paid, it's all good with me, i just came to Wetpaint Central, started asking for some help when i first go here, helped a lot of users and then without any request i was promoted to a Moderator.
Moderator or not i would continue to help Wetpaint users = )

As Madusha said, I do not mind not being paid.. I have been helping users for over almost a year, and I was asked to be a Mod, and I accepted. So, I became a mod not too long ago. Nope, Wetpaint runs a service for FREE, and they need to have more people to help them out with Community Support. I can't even imagine the amount of Email they get at Wetpaint. I guess that explains my feelings on the whole thing.

Budde and Madusha help people out on Wetpaint Central because they like to. We are not forcing them to do anything. They are just passionate users and so we reward that by giving them moderator privileges and an occasional feature on the Wetpaint blog: http://www.wetpaintfreshcoats.com/2008/02/28/our-best-budde/

Since they have been volunteering for years now they should at least get a reward. I would say wetpaint makes a lot on ads on 1000s of sites. Surely they could recieve like phone credit or giftcards or being really generous a PDA.
