I have a Question
Apr 25 2010, 3:59 PM EDT
What website are you apart of? Onixstorm sounds awfully like a Warriors website, so in that case, I'll narrow my Question down so it's easier to respond to.What is the Warriors website you are apart of? I've looked at WCC2, WCC2N, WFS, etc. and have found no user with the name 'Onixstorm'. You sound like a nice enough person, so I'd like to look at the website. ~dino<3 |

I doubt this member will ever answer you, well not on here at least. They joined Wetpaint Central in December of 2008, and since have not been active in the least bit around here.

"I doubt this member will ever answer you, well not on here at least. They joined Wetpaint Central in December of 2008, and since have not been active in the least bit around here."Oh! I'm very sorry. I had not realized it until I had examined their profile and had seen their Membership Date. Again, I apologize. I feel very foolish about it for not knowing until I had posted. |

It's no problem, many members make that mistake at first. With 50,000 registered users it can be very easy for one to become confused.

Not really, what the Wetpaint Central wiki runs as is a Q&A site. Users who are having troubles or concerns over their Wetpaint wikis come and post their concerns here. Community volunteers and actual Wetpaint staff members (99% of the time Jeremy) help answer these questions or concerns that another user may be having. Most users register, ask one question, get their question answered and leave because they no longer have a reason to be here unless they come across another problem. Also we get "bots" which are used by companies in order to post their scams on the site, they are quickly deleted and the bot is banned by a moderator. Fights only start over something like a removed feature or a new feature that no one can really understand. Basically it is only 1 fight per month if even that. Besides with actual members of Wetpaint being here, the last thing you want is to make a bad name for yourself. |

If only my website, and the websites that I'm apart of, ran that fluently and without fights. One breaks out at l e a s t an hour. Jealousy is filling my head. If only someone could bring the energy of love into the websites that I, and others, are apart of. Maybe then it could be like Wetpaint Central, except for they wouldn't be the same [Apart of Role Playing, Wetpaint Central is Q&A] |

The reasons that fights break out is due to competition. The reason Wetpaint Central can stay so calm is because it is a supported wiki by Wetpaint itself, and in retrospect is 1 of a kind. Another user could try to create a similar site, but they wouldn't be able to get their facts 100% straight without an actual employee of Wetpaint. Role Playing sites focus too much on trying to be better than each other than actually role playing, as a result a number of fights break out. I'm a big part of the Anime community around Wetpaint and we actually had a full out war back in 2007 with only a couple of sites actually surviving to still be around in 2010, lucky for me mine happened to be one of them.

Every now and then, there would be a major battle on the website, but nothing too complicated that the Staff Members and I couldn't handle..that definitely changes my perspective. |
