I joined this wiki because: I wanted to create an educational networking group site for my students to use. Something they could take charge of and be active participants in. I have tried the website route but there was no real student participation - it was all just me. Thus, I joined this wiki so I could get help creating it. I have just finished it [6 Sept 2008] and have invited students to join as a focus group. It took me a week to do it - three days though the wiki was sort of 'frozen' cause I made a major mistake and Jeremy had to fix it for me. I hope I will not be shunned for it. After the focus group of students has a look at the wiki and makes their suggestions, we are going to invite all the students in the department to join as well as alumni and individuals from industry. The best word to describe me is: Motivated Interests: Anything creative, challenging, and purpose driven Favorite movies: Not a movie person - but favorite book - The Fountainhead Favorite TV shows: Not a tv person either My hero(es): My mom - raised three kids, who all turned out OK, and was able to teach us how to do almost anything. Most importantly, she gave us the confidence to think we can. My superpower is: My evil eye - it can be deadly If I could live anywhere, it would be: Somewhere in New England My dream job(s): A job where I could be creative all the time, did not have to use an alarm clock, and have the work I produce make a difference.
