Goobye, friend.
Sep 28 2009, 9:20 PM EDT
Today in Berlin, Germany, tragedy struck. A young man was walking down the street, when his eyes rolled into the back of his head. Felix Wiesner died of internal hemorrhaging at 7:23 AM German time this morning. A friend of his, I deeply mourn his passing. Wiesi, you were a great friend and leader, and I will mourn you forever. |

Was he your hero? Did you know him?

Wiesi was my co-worker and leader on mausland.de. He and I made games, images and videos together for 5 years. Those were the happiest of my life.

It's all going to be alright. He's in a good place, or at least I hope he is. My faith says that he is.

I can believe he is if you think he is...

Should I say a prayer, or would that be inappropriate on a public multi-faith site?

I don't think it would matter, we have freedom of speech!

Glory be to the father, and to the son, and to the holy spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Rest in Peace, old friend. May your soul reach heaven and live in tranquility from now until Oblivion.

Thank you Rich. Yes, it helps. I just need to know the limitations of life and death, and that there must have been a reason.

"Thank you Rich. Yes, it helps. I just need to know the limitations of life and death, and that there must have been a reason."It is said that we control our own destiny. I do not believe that. I believe that we are here by the grace of God to change the destiny of others through our actions. If we have the Lord our Savior in our hearts, mind and spirit, then our destiny after death will be fulfilled with no limitations. Those we meet in the course of life, we will effect them and they will effect us. The only limitation found in life is choosing a path away from God. Perhaps Wiesi's destiny was to alter yours. |

Wiesi always said to me, "Chris, I won't always be around to protect you. It's a cold world, but think about me when the winter comes. It will never bite as hard." |
