in the season fanale, "No Rest For The Wicked," the deal Dean made with the crossroads demon to save his brothers life is up. in a last ditch effort to save Dean from his deal, he, Sam and Bobby fight Lilith, the demon who holds the contract. they lose and the Hellhounds come for Dean. they nearly rip him apart, killing him and his sole is sent to Hell/ Purgatory (not known which). Hopefully Sam can get his brother back, but will he finally be able to bring his long dormant powers to the surface in order to do that? Dean will surly be saved, but, will he be Dean we all know and love??? its going to be a long summer waiting for season four to begin and our questions answered!
