It was by my request. I felt that I did not warrant the position anymore. I accomplished what I wanted to do, with cleaning up some old threads and cleaning up the photo gallery. I will still be here and keep on doing what I do best. Coming up with ways to do things differently. My decision, I think was a good one.

At least you will still be around. You did a lot of great work as a moderator, and you helped me out a lot while you were one. I thought you were doing the best overall job as a Community Moderator.

Hey CryingDove! Thanks for your service to Wetpaint! It is sad to see you leave the moderating team, however, if you are truly happy being a user and helping out, I am happy! I agree with Shadow, I think you were the best community moderator on WPC.

Thanks all for the kind words. I didn't think I moderated at all. The posture I took was that of a rebel. The words, "cannot be done" " isn't supported" just bugs me to death. Many of hours have been spent at my computer trying to figure out ways to combat those words. Some of those hours have produced some great work-arounds. Some of those hours led me to dead-ends. What I have done with regards to Splats2 offerings, goes against what is offered by Wetpaint and may not apply to all users. But there is a hell of a lot on that site that works and is not offered for reasons only Wetpaint knows. With that being said, I felt that I could not represent the Wetpaint community and support the other moderators in a professional manner. I am comfortable being a renegade, bordering on being banned (which will never happen) and supply the community with provocative ideas. I will leave the future of Wetpaint Central to the Moderators and Administrators who will best serve the community. Me, I will work with the "Now" and you will always recognize me. I will be the one that will start out with "Although it is not a feature that Wetpaint offers, You Can, do this". |
