More about me: I am an Atheist, this means I do not believe in God nor follow any religion. I have several medical conditions. One is ADHD, which makes me a little hyper. I have also been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, which is a mild form of Autism. As such, I am somewhat of an organization genius, and extremely intelligent, but I am somewhat lacking in the social department, and I have difficulty discerning a person's emotional state.
My Wetpaint History: The beginning: I first got introduced to Wetpaint in the summer of 2007, when I was searching the internet for spoilers related to the upcoming season of CSI. After a few months of lurking, I finally joined CSI Wiki on August 25, 2007. I did nothing at first, but a few months later I started editing pages like crazy and finally got promoted to Moderator in Spring of 2008. As a moderator, I was able to institute many changes, under the permission of the Wetpaint and CBS personelle who ran the site. After CBS abandoned Wetpaint later that year, I was able to operate even better and I started uploading thousands of screencaps, running several games, and organizing the wiki to make things easier to find for people. In my time there, I made many friends, and also had a few cold encounters with some fellow staff members.
Wetpaint Central: After I had built up my reputation on the CSI Wiki, I began branching out to a few other wikis, mostly TV related. I also started visiting Wetpaint Central and helping users out with their enquiries. Finally, after reversing a spam attack in January of 2009, Jeremy finally promoted me to Community Moderator in February of the same year.
My first act as Moderator was to lock all 400+ pages on Wetpaint Central. I also began re-organizing the layout of several pages.
Over the summer of 2009, I started drafting the Wetpaint Central Rules, which now serve as the official rules for proper conduct on this wiki.
In fall of 2009, I once again went through all 400+ pages and resized all the font from Size 12 to Size 10.
Later on, I started the Non-Role Play Top 50 list, to show the top non-role play wikis apart from the Top 500 list.
In Fall of 2012, I was finally promoted to Community Administrator, following CryingDove's resignation from the post.
In January of 2013, I designed and implemented a brand new homepage design. This new homepage is designed to be more dynamic, functioning more as a newsletter, and less as a boring page with basic informative links. I also formed the new Wetpaint User Manual page as well.
In February of 2012, I began cleaning and re-organizing the discussion forum in order to eliminate all old, irrelevant, and outdated threads.
When Wetpaint upgrades their server hardware, I am planning on going through all the 4,000+ deleted pages and removing their keyword tags to further reduce the chances that anyone might find them in the future.
Golden Paint Can Awards: After several failed attempts to create my own wikis, and diminishing activity on CSI Wiki, I focused back on Wetpaint Central. Then, in the summer of 2010, Wetpaint abandoned the Golden Paint Can Awards and began focusing more on their new entertainment platform. I finally petitioned to take over the Golden Paint Can Awards wiki, and was promoted to Administrator in September of 2010. After three years of running it the same way, I finally decided to change the whole format of the awards.
Overall, I have had a pleasant time on Wetpaint, though there have been times I have felt like doing this:

Hello, It has been sometime since Wetpaint has posted its warnings, etc. How might I and my college students access Wetpaint Education to create educational wikis that will be open by invitation only?

I am the creator of http://draculasgirls.wetpaint.com
The two pages below were deleted from the google searches of Indiggo: http://draculasgirls.wetpaint.com/page/Indiggo http://draculasgirls.wetpaint.com/page/JAY-Z+%26+INDIGGO+TWINS+%2F+WATCH+THE+THRONE
The pages appear on google with the following description: "A description for this result is not available because of this site's robots.txt – learn more."
Until now these 2 pages appeared on Indiggo google searches on the first page. Did somebody block them? How can I add them back in the google searches?
Thank you, Violeta

I've been following the issue of wikis being blocked on wetpaint (I always liked the http://prepaid-wireless-internet-access.wetpaint.com - damn useful to find a cheap Internet access abroad - it is blocked now). There are many complaints, but two are there each time - the site has been blocked with no warning, and no-one is able to give any explanation. This is a HUGE lack of respect to people who put years of their time in their wiki. This is simply outrageous. I also cannot see why the admins of the possibly non-compliant wikis could not have been warned, asked to make changes, ... There are many possibilities - the easiest and stupidest - just block - has been chosen.
I have seen all the arguments of "but wetpaint gives us a good mixture of features" - does it really? The last two do not seem like a welcome addition, do they? I would reconsider having my stuff in a place like that - without ever being sure it will be there next day. With disdainful, disrespectful and stupid company behind.
In any case - lots of luck. I will NOT join you all anytime soon.

"bellswebster, I know that you are not the "big company", and that you are in really no better position than the rest of users. Still, CaptainSpaz and you too, I think, are in a position of a messenger. You also give the site your face; I just wanted to know how does it feel, after this mishap. I also wonder, who is going to stay. I would just run - take all my stuff and go. You?"
Its part of any job one undertakes. When things go 'belly up' I go with the flow and wait for things to correct itself back into a position after everything settles from the dust, and then I move on and re-build with what is left. Life isn't fair about many things. This is one of those things. When others are involved you do what needs to be done to help everyone, when you can and how you can...when nothing can be done, you 'hold the fort' together as best as you can. This can take a team effort. The team here is great together and we do understand everyone's frustration at what Wetpaint has done, and at their slack way with maintenance. I am here as long as I am required/wanted. I am not one to give up a fight until I am the last one standing...winner or loser.
