I agree. Baby Apple worked for that badge. Removing it would be no good.

I don't think this would be classified as forum necromancy, since as profile threads are not listed on the site wide forum.

"I don't think this would be classified as forum necromancy, since as profile threads are not listed on the site wide forum."
"Activity of bringing up old threads by posting in them long after they have lost their relevance."
That is the definition from the site that CaptainSpaz links to under the rules.
I would say this is forum necromancy, since you are once again a moderator this thread lost it's relevance. Also, members can still receive notifications that someone posted in an old thread of theirs. It is kind of annoying for you to receive a notification that someone just pointed out the obvious from a thread you posted in 3 months ago.

This thread was already the most recently responded to on my profile, so I think it's fine that "cat" brought it up.

This thread is almost 4 months old. This is defiantly form necromancy. DerCat posted a reply to an old thread. If he had a comment on your modship again, he could have posted a new thread congratulating you on it. There was NO reason to bring this thread up again.

Please read my above post. By definition, this is forum necromancy, but in practice, I don't think it counts.

I read your post above, and I object. The rules clearly state this is form necromancy, and it states the consequences of it. The user is warned, and, if possible, the thread is locked. Also, you may not think it counts, but 3 other users do.
