I believe that it would be easier for members if they could have two accounts connected with one email. Many people join and end up messing up because they don't have a lot of experience or they just really want a cooler name for their username, but they can't use the same email! The email that they use-- the only email they have! Well, if they could just create another account WITH THAT SAME EMAIL everything would be A LOT easier for them. They could get the updates they need for a site or sites and could even get email for threads that have been replied to.

Oh yeah, the email account point is very good. I've been working on several new sites/ tools and I've had this dilemma on all of them. I like to jump in and try things out before I go back and read the tips and tricks, but this means that I'm stuck with my first try because it's attached to my email.
